8 Days Lemosho Route

Your Path to the Roof of Africa

Trek Overview

The Lemosho Route is one of the most scenic routes on Kilimanjaro, offering pristine wildlife, excellent acclimatization, and fewer climbers. It’s our favorite path to reach the roof of Africa.

Starting with a 3-hour drive from Moshi to Lemosho Gate, you’ll find yourself on Kilimanjaro’s western slope. From there, the journey takes you to the renowned Shira Plateau, crossing diverse climate zones from alpine meadows to eternal ice. The climb is smooth and gradual, boasting the highest success rate among all Kilimanjaro routes.

We offer six, seven, and eight-day programs, with longer itineraries recommended for better acclimatization.
