6 Days Lemosho Route

Your Path to the Roof of Africa

Trek Overview

The Lemosho Route offers captivating scenic vistas, pristine wildlife, excellent acclimatization opportunities, and low climber traffic. It's one of the best Kilimanjaro routes and our personal favorite for reaching the roof of Africa.

Starting with a 3-hour drive from Moshi to Lemosho Gate, you’ll find yourself on the western slope of Mt Kilimanjaro. The route takes you to the world-famous Shira Plateau, crossing diverse climate zones from alpine meadows to eternal ice. The climb is smooth and gradual, boasting the highest success rate among all Kilimanjaro routes.

We offer six, seven, and eight-day programs, with longer itineraries recommended for better acclimatization.
