This 4-day safari is the perfect way to view some of Tanzania's amazing wildlife within a short period. Designed for clients facing time constraints, this itinerary allows you to experience a variety of wildlife in just 4 days. Visiting Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater offers an incredible wildlife viewing experience.
Main Destination: Tarangire National Park
Driving time to the park: 4 hours
Time in the park: 8 hours
Meal: Full board accommodation
Leave your hotel at 06:00 am and transfer to Tarangire National Park via Arusha. The drive takes approximately 4 hours to reach the park gate. You’ll spend around 7 hours within the park, renowned for its large elephant population and giant baobab trees. Other animals like giraffes, antelopes, lions, and cheetahs can also be spotted. At 05:00 pm, you’ll leave the park and head to your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, head towards Serengeti National Park via the beautiful high-lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. Head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, which features the Seronera River, providing a valuable water source and attracting diverse wildlife representative of most of the Serengeti's species.

After breakfast, start your game viewing. Serengeti is vast (about 1,400 km²), nearly the size of Northern Ireland. During the drive in North Serengeti, known as the park's heart, expect to see a wide diversity of animals, especially cats (lions, leopards, cheetahs). After the game drive, enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and overnight. We suggest having warm clothes and light gloves as the highlands can get chilly and windy.

Time in the park: 7-8 hours
Meals: Breakfast & Lunch and then transfer back to Airport for Departure/Hotel
After an early breakfast, you'll be picked up from your hotel or campsite to start the day. We plan to start very early to maximize your 7-8 hours in the park before transferring back to the airport. The Ngorongoro Crater offers a breathtaking blend of scenery, wildlife, and a fascinating historical and cultural element. Expect to see rhinos, elephants, lions, giraffes, pink flamingos, hyenas, and more. After a 6-8 hour game drive, make your way back to the airport or Moshi.
