After a scenic drive from Moshi, you'll start your trek through the lush rainforest. As you ascend, you'll encounter a variety of wildlife and breathtaking views.

Highlights: Steep ascent, panoramic views of the Meru crater, ash cone, and Little Meru
Today's trek is more challenging as you ascend the steep ridge to Saddle Hut. The effort is rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Meru crater and surrounding peaks.

Duration: 8-10 hours

Wake up before dawn for the final ascent to the summit. The challenging climb is rewarded with panoramic views of Kilimanjaro and the surrounding plains. After a well-deserved summit celebration, descend back to Momella Gate and transfer to your hotel in Moshi.
